We’ve been bursting at the seams to share this project with you all. 97th Street Kitchen is the ultimate humdinger of a food truck bound to turn heads wherever it goes, brought to life by the most amazing wrap, signage and lighting that our signwriters have installed to date.
The 97th Street food truck is the brainchild of chef Fabian from Sheldon College in Brisbane’s Bayside, built with the intention of raising funds for the school. 97th Street is a converted UPS Postal truck – A Chevy P30 Step Van imported from the US.
With a fabulous pic of Brisbane city and a very turquoise looking Brisbane River (wouldn’t that be nice – then we would never have to leave town to go on holidays!), The Storey Bridge on both sides of the truck illuminates and changes colour. It has lighting beneath the truck too and features the most thumping sound system we’ve installed into a food truck yet (where’s the party??!!). Of course she’s beautiful outside, but it’s what’s inside that counts, right? The full commercial kitchen features all of our usual seamless, quality custom built stainless work, fixtures and fittings, and is fitted with a range of commercial appliances. We think Fabian is going to be very happy inside his newly built roving commercial kitchen.
You’ll be bound to come across 97th Street at all of the big festivals and events around town. Maybe even a tourism commercial for Queensland!
